Minnesota Lakes Bank announced today the company has entered into an endorsement agreement with Captain Munnerlyn, Minnesota Vikings cornerback.  “Our organization is excited to welcome Captain to the Minnesota Lakes Bank family,” said Noah Wilcox, chief executive officer and chairman of Minnesota Lakes Bank.  “His passion for Vikings football is part of the spirit and culture of Minnesota, and that spirit and culture are reflected in our mission at Minnesota Lakes.  We look forward to working with Captain both during the regular and the off-season to bring visibility and fun to the Minnesota Lakes Bank brand.”

Captain Munnerlyn added: “I am very excited and happy to be part of the Minnesota Lakes Bank family.  I’m really looking forward to working with this bank; I like what they represent.”

Captain Munnerlyn majored in criminal justice and played college football at South Carolina for three years before being drafted by the Carolina Panthers in the 2009 NFL draft.  He signed a three-year contract with the Vikings in March 2014.

John Poling, Minnesota Lakes Bank president, noted that the bank is eager to work with Captain.  “We’ll be able to have Captain join us for company and community events over the coming months.  We can also expect him to bring even more social media awareness to Minnesota Lakes Bank and the brand we’re building in our service area.  We’re excited for this opportunity to work with a nationally-recognized sports figure and one who embodies the spirit of community service we’re proud of here at Minnesota Lakes Bank.”
